Indian Of The Year – NarendraModi

The 14th Prime Minister of India, “Narendra Modi” was born in a poor family on 17 September 1950 in Vadanagar, Gujarat. He is the son of “Damodar Das Mulchand Modi” and “Hiraben”. During his childhood, Modi was helping to his father, by selling tea who had a tea shop at vadanagar railway station. He received a Master’s degree in Political Science at the Gujarat University.

He participated in the fight against State of Emergency which was imposed from june 1975-january 1977. During this time, he entered politics by becoming the chief secretary of the RSS’s “Gujarat Lok Sangharshan Committee”. He was elected as Gujarat Chief Minister in 2001 and served as Chief Minister of gujarat till 2014. In lokasabha election 2014, he was elected as Prime Minister of India from the BJP, again he is elected for the same with the highest number of votes in lokasabha election 2019 and become the Prime Minister of India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has awarded the “Indian of the Year” by the CNN-IBN News Network in 2014 and UN’s “Champions of the Earth” award. he has emerged as the world’s third leader in a survey conducted by the GIA.
